Season's Greetings, Love INC Family,

 

2025 has been an amazing year for Love INC of North Marion County. God's hand has truly been at work bringing both volunteers and resources to help us serve people in our community, but the needs keep coming.

 

Your support makes a huge difference for families and individuals in need. Love INC has been able to serve upwards of 4000 individuals yearly.

 

The winter months bring challenges and increased expenses to families and individuals alike, including many seniors in our area. Adverse weather can greatly impact family health which in turn significantly reduces available income to pay monthly bills when child illness keeps parents home from work. Often, children who only own sweatshirts need coats to keep warm, dry, and healthy. Other times, clothing may have been totally outgrown; many children need appropriate fitting shoes and other items to allow them to keep going to school. These are just a few examples of what this season brings to many around us.

 

Love INC of North Marion County directly helps other local, vulnerable populations. The news, for example, talks about the increasing homeless population and families struggling to make ends meet and how hard it is to feed and clothe their children. They are not just talking about the big cities like Portland and Salem. We have that same need here in North Marion County. Some children go to school after spending a night in the family car and have to clean up and brush their teeth at school. People work two jobs and still can't pay their utilities. Other families have moved to Woodburn to escape domestic violence. These are precisely the people your support benefits.

 

This is the time of year when so many of us look at how blessed we have been and want to help people in our community who are less fortunate. If you are one of those, will you consider giving to Love INC of North Marion County?
